Friday Memes: Twisted Fate by Norah Olson

Happy Friday everybody!!
Book Beginnings on Friday is now hosted by Rose City Reader. The Friday 56 is hosted at Freda's Voice. Check out the links above for the rules and for the posts of the participants each week. Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

This week I am spotlighting Twisted Fate by Norah Olson. I got this eARC from Edelweiss and was attracted because it was compared to We Were Liars. Here is the description from Amazon:
Two sisters. One mysterious boy.

Ally and Sydney couldn't be more different—one shy, the other popular and outgoing—and when a new boy moves in next door, tensions between the sisters escalate. Graham is attractive, peculiar, and perhaps a little dangerous, and both girls are drawn to him in ways they can't quite explain. As each girl's relationship with Graham unfolds, the more complicated the truth becomes—until a shocking encounter turns their sleepy coastal town upside down and questions everything the sisters thought they knew about themselves and each other.

Told in alternating points of view by a wide cast of characters, Twisted Fate is a tensely wrought psychological thriller, perfect for fans of We Were Liars by E. Lockhart.
I'm not saying that I was right in the end. In fact maybe I'm to blame: the way I was caught off guard; the way I walked out of school that late afternoon with my eyes wide open, thinking I had a plan, that I could fix everything all by myself, never dreaming how wrong things could go at the harbor.
Friday 56:
Something about the way he moved really got to me. I couldn't decide if I liked it or thought he was a creep.

  1. This isn't my go-to genre, but the summary sounds quite interesting.

    Check out my 56 here.

  2. Thanks for sharing, but I don't think this will go on my wish list.

  3. Love the excerpts! Especially the 56. I'm not a huge YA reader (even though my book this week is one) but I like the voice enough on this that I'll have to check it out.

  4. You had me at the comparison to We Were Liars, which surprised me with its twists and turns. This one sounds like it would do the same. Thanks for sharing.

    Here's mine: “AFTER BIRTH”

  5. Creep? Well that's not good , what are you waiting for, run! >.<

  6. Two sisters and a maybe creepy guy. I can see this going all kinds of wrong.

    Here's my 56 -
