48 Hour Book Challenge Finish Line

This is the Fifth Annual 48 Hour Book Challenge hosted by MotherReader.

Title of book(s) read:
Sing Me to Sleep by Angela Morrison (301 p.)
Storm Warning (39 Clues, Book 9) by Linda Sue Park (190 p.)
All Unquiet Things by Anna Jarzab (337 p.)
The Total Tragedy of a Girl Named Hamlet by Erin Dionne

Current Book:
Strange Neighbors by Ashlyn Chase - I'm on page 338 and only had 15 pages to go to finish the book.

Number of books read since you started: 4

Pages read since last update: 338
Running total of pages read since you started: 1456

Amount of time spent reading since last update: 3 hours 45 minutes
Amount of time spent social networking: 1 hour

Running total of time spent reading since you started: 26 hours

Thus ends my first readathon. I enjoyed this spur of the moment decision and would participate again. Next time I think I would prefer to plan for it and be ready with meals and snacks prepared. I kept thinking of things I should be doing to get ready to leave my house for 2 months. Oh, well, I still have Monday after work to get ready.

I read some good books that I don't have to haul to my vacation home now. I think the ones I enjoyed the most were Sing Me to Sleep and All Unquiet Things. Both were very different from each other but very entertaining and moving books.

  2. Preparing meals ahead of time--I love it! You read so much more than I did, but I still feel like I accomplished a great deal. I knocked a few books off of my TBR pile and still managed to spend time with family and friends. Way to go, Ms. Martin!
