In My Mailbox (July 25, 2010)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.
I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the cool books everyone gets. You will discover lots of wonderful blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.

Here is what I got this week:
I got Sisters Red by Jackson Pierce because I am a fan a werewolf books. Debbie Carton's Booklist review says: "Readers of Stephenie Meyer, Donna Jo Napoli, and Shannon Hale will enjoy the excitement, romance, supernatural elements, and fairy tale references." I have never read anything by the author but I do have As You Wish somewhere in the TBR mountain.

Siren by Tricia Rayburn is by a 2010 YA Debut Author. Shelle Rosenfeld's Booklist review says: "this will appeal to fans of contemporary supernatural novels, and the lingering ambiguities and loose ends will leave readers wanting more."

That is what was in my mailbox. What was in yours?

  1. Siren is on my TBR list. I can't wait to read it. Sisters Red also sounds interesting to me because I like fairy tale retellings. I hope you enjoy both of these. I'll be sure to look for your reviews.
