In My Mailbox (September 12, 2010)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.
I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the cool books everyone gets. You will discover lots of wonderful blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.

This was another good week for my mailbox.
I finally got a chance to get a reasonably priced used copy of Theodore Boone Kid Lawyer by John Grisham so that I can see for myself how his complex, adult style translates for young adults.

I got Into the Gauntlet by Margaret Peterson Haddix which is the 10th book in the 39 Clues series. I am curious to see how everything is resolved in this series finale.
I won Karma Bites by Stacy Kramer and Valerie Thomas from Jill at the O.W.L. as a part of her In the Middle Reading Challenge. I am excited to have a chance to read it and to share it with my middle schoolers.

I finally decided that I had to buy a copy of Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare because I had heard so many good things about it on the blogs I follow. This one will also go to school because I have quite a number of students who love her other books.
I have had Firelight by Sophie Jordan on pre-order for quite a while. I am intrigued by the concept and am very eager to read it. This is Sophie Jordan's debut YA title. She is rather more known for her historical romances. I have read a few of them.

Plain Kate by Erin Bow is a book that has only recently appeared on my radar. It is another book by a debut author. I decided to buy a copy because I have seen so many wonderful reviews of this book lately.

These are the books that added to my TBR stack this week. What came in your mailbox?
