Book Beginning: Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton

My beginning sentence this week comes from Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton. She is a 2011 Young Adult Debut Author and I am reading from the eARC supplied by Simon & Schuster's Galley Grab program. This sentence may change in the finished copy of the book which will be published on Feb. 22, 2011.
Under the cafeteria table, my right knee bounced like a jackhammer possessed.
Clearly she is nervous about something. It makes me eager to keep reading to find out what.
