In My Mailbox (March 13, 2011)

The weekly In My Mailbox post is hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren. It is fun to see what everyone else gets in their mailboxes, shopping bags, and library visits. Click on the link to The Story Siren's site to see the rules and join in the fun.

I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.

I added three 2011 Young Adult Debuts to my stack this week.
I read an ARC of Darkness Becomes Her by Kelly Keaton and really enjoyed it. I wanted a print copy to donate to my high school media center.

Clarity by Kim Harrington has a great cover and an interesting premise. I am eager to read this paranormal mystery romance. It hits all the genres I love.

Haven by Kristi Cook has got a lot of glowing reviews around the blogosphere. It is also a mix of mystery, romance and the paranormal.

I also got two sequels by 2010 Young Adult Debut Authors because I enjoyed the first book in the series and want to know what happens next.
Desires of the Dead by Kimberly Derting follows the very successful The Body Finder (which is currently available for $1.99 in the Kindle Store and also comes with bonus material). The Body Finder was one of my favorite of the 2010 Debut Novels last year.

I also got Demonglass by Rachel Hawkins which is the sequel to Hex Hall. I am very curious to find out what happens next for Sophie in this story.

I need to concentrate on reading my 2011 Debut Young Adult Author books soon. I am amassing quite a number of them.

What did you get this week?

  14. Great books this week! I really need to get Darkness Becomes Her (it expired on me before I was able to finish it via Galley Grab.) I've heard great things about Demonglass & Hexhall. I'm planning to pick up the first book soon. Happy reading!

  15. I want to read a lot of these books, especially Clarity. I loved The Body Finder and liked Desires of the Dead though I felt it didn't measure up to the first book. Demonglass however is a different story-I thought that was better than Hex Hall.
