I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.
This was another big mailbox week for me. Here is what I got. My TBR mountain is getting higher and higher. I have just about given up hope of every reducing it to a mole's hill.

Finally, the long awaited third book in the Wolves of Mercy Falls series has been published. Forever by Maggie Stiefvater finally landed in my mailbox. I am traveling to her author signing on July 25 and hope to have the book finished by then.
I also got Dragon's Oath by P.C. Cast and Kristin Cast which is a novella in the House of Night series.
I got Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs after seeing a number of good reviews. I just took a brief glance into the book and saw some really strange photographs. It is certainly different than my usual reading.
The Hidden Coronet by Catherine Fisher is the third in the Relic Master series. I have only read the first one so far but I really liked it and am collecting the rest.
I also got a number of books for review this week from NetGalley.
The Marked Son is the first in a trilogy by Shea Berkley. I'll be having the author visiting my blog on August 20 too. This one is an August release and is the first of a trilogy. The following books will be published in August 2012 and August 2013.
The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa is the next in the Iron Fey books. These are such entertaining and original fantasies that I was so glad to be able to get this book early. This doesn't release until Oct. 25.
Vanish by Sophie Jordan is the sequel to Firelight. Dragons are too little explored in young adult fiction in my opinion. I'm glad to see Jordan continuing this series. This releases on Sept. 6.
Guys Read Thriller by Jon Scieszka is a middle grade book that I am interested in. I know he has done a few of these Guys Read titles but I haven't had a chance to read any of them yet. This is a Sept. 20 release.
The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson looks like it is in my favorite genre. I was attracted to the interesting cover of this one. This one releases on Sept. 20.
Blood: Book One of the Mercian Trilogy by K. J. Wignall is another book in a favorite genre. This one has vampires. This one will release on Sept. 27.
That was my mailbox. What did you get in yours?
We have some of the same books this week (Forever, The Iron Knight, Vanish, The Girl of Fire and Thorns). I am really excited about Vanish and The Girl of Fire and Thorns. I hadn't heard of that last one till I saw it on NetGalley but after reading a glowing review on The Compulsive Reader I can't wait to start it!
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about the TBR pile. I just returned a bunch of books to the library (a few unread) but I still have so many books to read not to mention e-books!
