Book Beginning & Friday 56: Unleashed by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie

Happy Friday everybody!!
Book Beginnings

Book Beginnings on Friday is now hosted by Katy at A Few More Pages
Anyone can participate; just share the opening sentence of your current read, making sure that you include the title and author so others know what you're reading.
If you like, share with everyone why you do, or do not, like the sentence.

The Friday 56
Rules:
  • Grab the book nearest you. Right now.
  • Turn to page 56.
  • Find the fifth sentence.
  • Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or (if you do not have your own blog) in the comments section of Freda's Voice
  • Post a link along with your post back to Freda's Voice
Don’t dig for your favorite book, the coolest, the most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

I recently chose Unleashed (Wolf Spring Chronicles) by Nancy Holder and Debbie Viguie from the Amazon Vine program. I was tempted by the idea of werewolves. I have just begun reading this and already like the main character. The story is filled with mysterious characters and is very suspenseful.

Beginning:
I can fly.

Katelyn Claire McBride was the girl on the flying trapeze.
Friday 56:
The blond guy who'd first identified her as the new girl passed a stack of papers to Katelyn over his shoulder. She took one before handing them to Cordelia and skimmed it.
This book will be published on Nov. 22.

  3. I don't remember seeing that one from Vine. I will have to look and see if it is still available on the next newsletter.

  4. How fun it would be to be able to fly, even if it is only on a trapeze!

Thanks for participating in Book Beginnings!
