I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.
Whenever I have a week when I think that I am finally getting my stack of review books under control, this sort of thing happens. I received six books this week -- all for review!
But, hey, it is my own fault. I am the one who said "yes" when asked to review a title. I got a nice mixture of print and ebooks this week.
I got these print ARCs from the Amazon Vine program:
That was my haul this week. What arrived in your mailbox?

I got these print ARCs from the Amazon Vine program:
Winterling by Sarah Prineas - I chose this one because I loved her Magic Thief series and hope this one will be as popular with my middle grade students. This book will be released on Jan. 3.
Jessica Rules the Dark Side by Beth Fantaskey - I chose this one because I really liked Jessica's Guide to Dating on the Dark Side. I hope this one is as good. It will be released on Jan. 10.
The rest of these came either from the author or from publicists.
The Wordwide Dessert Contest by Dan Elish is the Enhanced Multimedia Edition. This is a reprint of a book that was made into a musical. Apparently there are links to songs and videos in the story. I have this on my Kindle but may have to add the Kindle App to my laptop in order to enjoy the multimedia aspects of this story. This one was released Sept. 17. Have you seen it yet?
Destined by P. C. Cast and Kristin Cast - I had a contest earlier this fall and gave away a copy. I also just received this finished copy for myself. I like this series and my students love it. This one was released on Oct. 25.
8: The Previously Untold Story of the Previously Unknown 8th Dwarf by Michael Mullin was chosen because I found the premise intriguing. Who knew there was an 8th dwarf? This is short and told in verse. I have this one waiting on my Kindle. This one was released Nov. 9.
Kaptain Vamp by Joanne Lecuyer was pitched by the author last summer. I have been waiting for a copy of this middle grade novel to appear. It is also short and looks like something my upper elementary students will enjoy. I expect to share this print copy with them when I finish it. The Kindle version was released on Oct. 11 but Amazon is still not listing the print version.
I have Destined on my TBR pile as well! Hope you enjoy them all, happy reading!
