Here is what I got this week:
I was shopping at Amazon and found three books that I really wanted in the 4-for-3 group and was looking for a fourth book when I saw Unnatural by Michael Griffo. I liked the cover and blurb and thought I should give it a try. Anyone read this series?
I seem to be on a quest to collect all things A Wrinkle in Time. This week I added the audiobook as read by the author.
I received a surprise package from Ksenia at Macmillan's Childrens' Group that contained an ARC of Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo. It is so new that they haven't even chosen a cover for it yet. This sounds like an interesting dystopia that I look forward to reading.
Another of my 4-for-3 books, and one that I went to Amazon to get, was The Hunger Games Tribute Guide. The book is part of the hype that is preceding the new movie. It is lovely and colorful and looks like a quick read since it is mostly pictures.
Last, I brought home a book from my school media center because both my colleague and one of my fellow teachers have been raving about it. I am already about a third of the way through Hunger by Jackie Morse Kessler and can see why they were so enthusiastic. I also thought I should read it because I just requested Loss by Kessler from the Amazon Vine program.
That was my mailbox this week. Did you get anything exciting?
I read Hunger by Kessler and really liked it. I LOVED The Hunger Games and can hardly wait to see the movie. Great IMM this week!

Hunger sounds fabulous! And of course anything Hunger Games related rocks. I should have read A Wrinkle in Time, but it wasn't one of those forced school books, so I didn't. Enjoy your haul!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by:)
