Here is my Review Books Spreadsheet. The yellow highlighted books are ones past their publication date that I still haven't read and reviewed. I use pink highlights for reviews due in even numbered months so that I can see at a glance how many I have for each month. Ideally, this keeps me from over-committing to review books.
Here is the physical review stack in order of publication date:
Counting shows 19 books but 18 titles. There are two copies of Crystal Gardens by Amanda Quick. I got one from LibraryThing's Early Reviewers and one from Amazon Vine.
Here are the Kindle review copies I have in the order that they were added to my LibraryThing account.
These are holdovers from previous months.
I am keeping up with my review commitments. I read eight books from my review stack this month. Click on the title to see my review for:

April looks like it will be a very busy reading month for me. I have 10 books to read and review this month which almost doubles my ideal month's goal of six books. However, they are all books I am excited to read. I need to have one read by the 10th, one by the 12th, two by the 15th, and six by the 24th.
Next up is A Perfect Storm by Lori Foster. This is my last March book. I am a stop on her blog tour on April 4. I plan to start reading this one while I am on a bus ride up to the Timberwolves game on Sunday. (I am writing this post on Saturday morning for Monday publication.)
Wow, that is a lot of books!! Makes my TBR pile seem like nothing, since I know you must have another big ol stack of non YA books!
ReplyDeleteThese are all my review books both adult and young adult. My TBR stacks are a whole different story. LibraryThing says I have 1295 on my To Read list but that includes the Review books.
DeleteI have been thinking I need to make something up like this. I want to get to the point that I am reading no more than 2/3 of my monthly books as reviews. I want the rest to be personal choice. Plus, I want to get caught up and need to make sure I am bringing in less books than I am reading. Maybe a stat bar on my blog. But I better do something soon.
