Tynga of Tynga's Reviews is starting a new meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. She explains at her site and posts a Linky each week.
I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets. You will also discover lots of great blogs and lots of books that you won't be able to live without.
Here is what I got this week.
I bought Dark Destiny by M. J. Putney this week. This is the third in her magic/time travel/historical fiction series. I have read and enjoyed the first two and need to continue reading.
I bought City of Bones by Cassandra Clare for my Kindle this week because it was $.99. I have read this one but wasn't a big fan. I want to re-read it to see if I like it better this time.
This week's SYNC audiobooks were The Woman in White by Wilkie Collins and Anna Dressed in Blood by Kendare Blake. I have not read either of them and am looking forward to listening to them. You can download them for free too if you act before this Thursday and live in the US or Canada.
Those were my additions to the stack. What did you get?
Wow! Great haul! I'm really looking forward to your review of City of Bones! Enjoy all your books! :)
ReplyDeleteNice! Dark Destiny is starting to pop up in places! Looks intriguing! Also seeing lots of City of Bones since the movie is getting underway!
ReplyDeleteStill have to read Anna Dressed in Blood myself! It's being upped in my TBR mountain since the author visits my city next month!
Happy Reading!

I absolutely loved Anna Dressed in Blood. And I love the Mortal Instruments series, but I've heard a lot of people say they didn't like City of Bones. I don't remember, all of the books mesh together for me... Happy reading!
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my haul.
Argh! I tried to leave a comment so often and everytime it won't work, so here is hoping that this time it does! (And that you don't have multiple comments saying the same thing because of me. o.o)
ReplyDeleteI recently got an email from TBD that Anna Dressed in Blood has been dispatched, so I'm really looking forward to finally getting to read it! :D
As for City of Bones.. When I read it for the first time, I actually enjoyed it. But back then I was younger and hadn't read that many YA titles to begin with, so when I later reconsidered all of it and read parts of the book again, I actually liked it less than before. - Hope the opposite will happen to you when you reread it! :D
Happy Reading!

Wow, the cover of Dark Destiny is truly amazing! Time travel isn't really my kind of thing though. City of Bones on the other hand I did enjoy, which reminds me that I need to catch up!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my STS and happy reading!
Anna Dressed in Blood is so good! I was lucky enough to pick up a copy of Girl of Nightmares at ALA! I hope you love it :) Check out my shelves:
