Stacking the YA Shelves (Oct. 7, 2012)

Tynga of Tynga's Reviews hosts this meme to spotlight the books we receive each week. I guarantee that your TBR pile will grow when you see all the wonderful books everyone gets.

This week I added six books to my stack.
I bought a copy of The Curiosities by Maggie Stiefvater, Tessa Gratton, and Brenna Yovanoff when I was at the Maggie Stiefvater signing at The Red Balloon on Thursday night. She autographed it. Now all I need to do is see Tessa and Brenna. (I also got my copies of The Raven Boys signed!)

I got Fire Season by David Weber and Jane Lindskold. This is Weber's second young adult book in his Honor Harrington universe and is science fiction.
I got Poison Princess by Kresley Cole this week too. I am eager to read this author's first young adult title.

Whisper My Name by Jane Eagland made its way to me from the UK. After reading about the story on a blog, I went searching and found a copy on Amazon Marketplace. It sounded so interesting.
I also added a couple of books to my review stack.

I got Will Sparrow's Road as one of my Amazon Vine picks this month. I am a fan of Cushman's historical fiction and Elizabethan England is one of my favorite settings. This book will be released on Nov. 6, 2012.

I also got Unremembered by Jessica Brody in a cool, hot pink envelope from Macmillan Children's Publishing Group. This is a science fiction title that will be released on March 5, 2013.

What did you add to you stack?

  1. Unremembered! :D I'm a bit ambivalent about the rest. I don't think much of Whisper My Name, even though I've read it. I can't remember anything about it, so it mustn't have been that extraordinary so as to stick in my mind. Will Sparrow's Road sounds promising... Happy reading!

    See what books I got!
