Stacking the YA Shelves (May 5, 2013)

 Three books landed in my mailbox this week with the mail carrier tromping over huge piles of snow. We got 11.5 inches on May 2 setting a new record. Here is what I got:
Arclight by Josin L. McQuein is a 2013 Debut Author book. It is a post-apocalyptic Science Fiction story that I can't wait to read. 

I read the eARC of The Eternity Cure by Julie Kagawa but had to have a hardcover copy to donate to my school media center for my students to read. I really enjoyed the story and can't wait for book three.

Slayers by C. J. Hill was an addition to my Kindle. I don't know how I missed this book about dragons but it was called to my attention when I saw the sequel in Macmillan Children's Publishing Group's Fall 2013 catalog (and asked for an ARC of the sequel.)

    I liked the Eternity Cure a lot too and really want to read Arclight! We requested Slayers and the sequel too - slipped by us as well!

    I got Eternity Cure last week and I'm just reading book one, so I'll be starting book two soon. Nice haul!

    Immortal Rules was a little scary for me (!) but I've read so many great reviews of the Eternity Cure that I am going to read it!

    Snow, eww! It's finally getting sunny and warm out here. I'm so sick of the cold... Eternity Cure was awesome. I've heard great things about Arclight. Maybe I should look into it... Happy reading!
