Review Books
Okay, I'll admit it. I got a little carried away with review books this week. Darn Edelweiss and its auto-approved setting!
I got approved for Take Me On by Katie McGarry at NetGalley! I love this author's style and characters. And, despite the fact that it comes out on May 27 and I'm already reading June releases, I can't wait to read this one.
Most of the rest of these are from Edelweiss and release sometime this Fall. The titles I requested from Macmillan are trickling in too.
Feral by Holly Schindler comes out August 26 and is a psychological thriller.
Don't Touch by Rachel M. Wilson will be released on Sept. 2. It is a story of a girl who suffers from an anxiety disorder.
Rites of Passage by Joy N. Hensley will be released on Sept. 9. I have this one tagged romance and suspense.
Blackbird by Anna Carey comes out on Sept. 16. I tagged this one thriller.
Get Even by Gretchen McNeil comes out Sept. 16 too. This one got tagged contemporary but it is also about revenge.
The Magic Thief: Home by Sarah Prineas comes out on Sept. 16 too. It is a middle grade fantasy and the fourth book in a series I enjoy.
The Scandalous Sisterhood of Prickwillow Place by Julie Berry arrived from Macmillan this week. It will be released on Sept. 23.
Tabula Rasa by Kristen Lippert-Martin will be released on Sept. 23 too. The cover caught my eye and I was interested in the dystopian thriller storyline.
Exquisite Captive by Heather Demetrios will be released on Oct. 7. It is a fantasy. I think it will be my first book about jinni.
Kiss Kill Vanish by Jessica Martinez is also being released on Oct. 7. I tagged this one thriller.
Stray by Elissa Sussman also comes out Oct. 7. This fantasy combines fairy tale, adventure, and romance.
Even in Paradise by Chelsea Philpot comes out Oct. 14. It sounded like an interesting contemporary story.
Snow Like Ashes by Sara Raasch comes out on Oct. 14. This is a fantasy by a debut author.
Beware the Wild by Natalie C. Parker comes out on Oct. 21. It is a Southern Gothic story.
Get Happy by Mary Amato will be released on Oct. 28. It is a contemporary story about love and family.
On the Edge by Allison van Diepen comes out Nov. 25. I tagged this one a romance but I also think it is a thriller.
Bought
And, since seventeen books didn't seem like enough, I bought this sale and Kindle Daily Deal books.
Becoming Alpha by Aileen Erin was a Kindle Daily Deal. I can't resist werewolf books.
Pushing the Limits by Katie McGarry was on sale for $.31 this week. I've read the ARC and this seemed like a perfect time to get a copy for my Kindle.
The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey was also a Kindle Daily Deal. I had recently donated my unread hardcover to my Media Center but couldn't resist adding this title to my Kindle. I really do hope to read it someday.
What did you add to your stack this week?
