Summer Reading Plans

A couple of weeks ago I posted about my out of control TBR pile. I decided to bring a few from the pile home with me to try to read this summer. There really isn't much rhyme or reason to how I picked the books I brought home. They are just the ones that looked good to me when I was filling the bag.

Here is what I picked in order of the date I added them to my TBR mountain.
Steel by Carrie Vaughn (3/15/2011)
Stupid Fast by Geoff Herbach (7/6/2011)
Lola and the Boy Next Door by Stephanie Perkins (9/29/2011)
Silence by Michelle Sagara (5/1/2012)
For Darkness Shows the Stars by Diana Peterfreund (6/22/2012)
Endlessly by Kiersten White (7/24/2012)
Hidden by Sophie Jordan (9/13/2012)
The Crown of Embers by Rae Carson (9/18/2012)
The Raven Boys by Maggie Stiefvater (9/18/2012)
Changeling by Philippa Gregory (9/19/2012)
Death and the Girl Next Door by Darynda Jones (12/18/2012)
Iron Hearted Violet by Kelly Barnhill (1/2/2013)
The Essence by Kimberly Derting (1/3/2013)
Legend by Marie Lu (4/16/2013)
The Testing by Joelle Charbonneau (8/23/2013)
Untold by Sarah Rees Brennan (9/25/2013)
Starglass by Phoebe North (12/9/2013)
The Nightmare Affair by Mindee Arnett (2/19/2014)
The Shadow Throne by Jennifer A. Nielsen (2/25/2014)
A Snicker of Magic by Natalie Lloyd (3/4/2014)
The Lost Sun by Tessa Gratton (3/24/2014)
Odin's Ravens by K. L. Armstrong and M. A. Marr (5/21/2014)

I still have to fit these in around release dates for the review books on my stack. However, it's summer and I plan to read somewhere around one book a day. Hopefully, I can make a bit dent in this pile before I got back to work on Aug. 25.

Those of you who are math inclined might be saying - a book a day, 22 books. What do you plan to do in July and August? Here's the rest of the story. I have 8 July review books, 4 August review books, and 14 September review books that I want to finish by Aug. 25 too. And, I brought home a slightly larger stack (29 books) from my Adult TBR mountain. Oh, and I have my Kindle too in case I run out of books to read.

Wish me luck!
